Mais comment cette technique fonctionne ?  On vous explique tout.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le principe de photocatalyse<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le principe de photocatalyse va consister \u00e0 provoquer la d\u00e9gradation des mati\u00e8res, sous l\u2019action d\u2019un rayonnement UV la d\u00e9gradation des mati\u00e8res, principalement organiques. Cette r\u00e9action chimique est cr\u00e9\u00e9e par le dioxyde de titane, qui va r\u00e9agir comme catalyseur au contact des UV. L\u2019op\u00e9ration va se produire qu\u2019en surface. Le photocatalyseur lui-m\u00eame ne sera pas d\u00e9grad\u00e9 mais va permettre d\u2019augmenter consid\u00e9rablement la vitesse de la r\u00e9action. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019op\u00e9ration va se produire qu\u2019en surface. Le photocatalyseur lui-m\u00eame ne sera pas d\u00e9grad\u00e9 mais va permettre d\u2019augmenter consid\u00e9rablement la vitesse de la r\u00e9action. La photocatalyse va permettre la d\u00e9composition de polluants organiques volatiles. Ce principe est notamment utilis\u00e9 comme mat\u00e9riels m\u00e9dicaux comme le filtre UV par exemple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fonctionnement de la technique de photo catalyse<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Vous l&rsquo;aurez compris la photo catalyse va permettre de r\u00e9aliser des r\u00e9actions chimiques en pr\u00e9sence de lumi\u00e8re.<br>Le processus \u00e9lectronique se produit \u00e0 la surface d\u2019un catalyseur (le dioxyde de titane \u2013 TiO2) par l\u2019intervention d\u2019un rayonnement UV (photon). Les particules polluantes sont absorb\u00e9es \u00e0 la surface du catalyseur pour \u00eatre oxyd\u00e9es. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les photons qui cr\u00e9ent des sites d\u2019oxydation et de r\u00e9duction \u00e0 la surface du catalyseur. Ce processus va provoquer la cassure des liaisons chimiques des polluants biologiques et COV, qui alors va se d\u00e9grader en H2O et CO2. Ce traitement par photo catalyse va \u00eatre renforc\u00e9 par l\u2019effet germicide propre aux rayons UV. Toute esp\u00e8ce organique (micro-organisme, contaminant chimique, odeur) est ainsi d\u00e9truite ind\u00e9pendamment de sa structure mol\u00e9culaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La photo catalyse ouvre des perspectives en mati\u00e8re de traitement de polluants dans des effluents gazeux, tel que l&rsquo;air, ou dans l&rsquo;eau.
