The CADR indicates the volume of filtered air delivered by an air cleaner.
The AHAM Label (found on the packaging of the air purifiers) lists three CADR numbers ─ one for tobacco smoke, one for pollen and one for dust. The higher the tobacco smoke, pollen and dust numbers, the faster the unit filters the air.
Blueair air purifiers’ CADR are all certified by the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) label. You can find these datas on each and every Blueair units available on our website.
Manufacturers that participate in AHAM Verification Programs are listed in AHAM’s directories of verified products.
In addition, products that are part of AHAM’s programs are easily identified by the AHAM Verifide Mark that appears on the product packaging or rating label.
WARNING: Some products indicates a measure CADR but didn’t applied to AHAM program, make you you don’t get tricked by checking this point closely!
The logo AHAM Verifide Mark must be displayed on the front panel of the product and on the packaging.
AHAM Verifide Mark or AHAM label can also appear on the filter itself or can figure in the instruction manual and/or any communication medium.
